Hi, I’m Michelle — the creator of MyFit Closet.
The idea for MyFit Closet came from two completely unexpected places: my toddler’s tablet game… and a stressful work trip.
One evening I was watching my daughter play a dress-up game on her tablet. She was effortlessly mixing and matching outfits on a digital character — swapping tops, bottoms, and accessories in seconds.
It struck me immediately:
Why is it easier for a toddler to style outfits digitally than it is for adults in real life?
Around the same time, I was preparing for a work trip to Nashville. Packing should have been simple, but instead I found myself staring into a closet full of clothes and feeling completely stuck. I couldn’t visualize outfits, I couldn’t remember what pieces worked together, and I didn’t know what would actually make sense for the trip.
So I did what many of us do.
I opened my phone and resorted to shopping online.
Not because I needed new clothes — but because it felt easier than figuring out what I already owned.
That moment made something painfully obvious:
Our closets are full, but they aren’t organized for how we actually think about getting dressed.
Pieces we love sit unworn. Outfits we’ve forgotten stay buried. And sometimes we buy something new simply because we can’t visualize what we already have.
I kept thinking:
Why doesn’t my closet work the way my phone does?
Why can’t I see everything I own, experiment with outfits instantly, plan ahead for trips or events, and even ask a friend for a quick opinion before getting dressed?
So I started building the tool I wished existed.
MyFit Closet is a digital version of your real wardrobe — where you can upload your clothes, mix and match outfits, plan what to wear, and rediscover pieces you forgot you owned.
But this isn’t just about fashion.
It’s about:
• saving time in busy mornings
• reducing decision fatigue
• getting more value from the clothes you already own
• and ultimately reducing fashion waste.
Today I’m building MyFit Closet alongside my full-time career and family life — because I believe getting dressed should feel creative, empowering, and intentional.
